Few of us have time in the morning to take lots of things off a hanger to get to what’s underneath or to go through countless T-shirts or jerseys to find what we want or to have to iron things which have been crushed together. When there’s order in your wardrobe, you’ll have more order in your life and therefore more time and energy available to function fully.
Let go of the old and outworn
By letting go of all that’s outworn and outgrown, in all areas of your life, you open up space for new attitudes, ideas, friends and opportunities, as well as new, perfect-for-you clothes, to flow into your life. Outdated clothes that aren’t right for you make you look and feel outdated and can keep you stuck in a rut of old beliefs and habits.
Getting rid of clothes you don’t need any more is liberating and uplifting, but it can be quite scary and emotional. Your clothes are associated with happy and sad times, with when you’ve been slimmer or heavier and they also represent money you’ve spent and often feel guilty about, but it’s pointless to keep clothes you never wear just because they were expensive. Holding on won’t get your money back!
